Rain, Sweat, and Tears Studio launches two new projects in 2011: the feature length documentary project "Lost Civilizations of Nevada" and training video services.
Staff of Rain, Sweat, and Tears Studio spent 2011 combing the Nevada backcountry to piece together legends of the Lake Lahontan Culture, including the "Red Headed Giants" of Lovelock Cave. These people either predated or coexisted with ancestors of modern Paiute and Shoshone. The facial reconstruction from a Winnemucca area skull suggests that, like the Spirit Cave Man and Kennewick Man mummies, these people did not have traditionally "native" facial features. Documentary set for final production in 2012.
